Lithuanian Central State Archive offers to prepare inquiries on social and legal maters based on archival documents and copies of documents, makes investigation and analysis of archival files.

At the requests the Archive gives official certificates (on the base of archival documents from the period since 1918 till 1990 years) about estate, realty, records of active service (military, police, government authorities, etc.), citizenship, forced labour, imprisonment in ghettos, other legal status facts.

In order to find a record, the following basic information on individual has to be provided:

Full names (including maiden name) written in capital letters;

Date and place of birth, marriage or death (though approximate);

Owned property and place of residence and realty: town, village, region district or other areas and addresses;

All other possible information (institution of education, work etc. must be provided as well.

An applicant has to specify relationship to the individual for whom information is requested or a notarized letter of attorney must be submitted together with the request.

Every request for archival research from any person has to be sent to the Lithuanian Central State Archive in written form with personal signature.

The services have to be paid according to the price list.

We will inform you on a payment after receiving your order.

An official archival answer will be sent to the given address within 1-2 months or in a shorter period for a special fee.

After receiving a copy of your money transfer, archival research will be started.

 

Bank cheques are not accepted.
