In commemoration of The National Memorial Day for the Genocide of Lithuanian Jews, the Lithuanian Special Archives prepared the exhibition about the sacrifice and courage of Lithuanian family Jonas and Stasė Ruzgiai, who, during World War II, helped condemned to death Jews to survive.

The exhibition „Basilian monks in Lithuania” was opened in Lithuanian archival building (Mindaugas st. 8, Vilnius), on November 10th. Exhibition is dedicated to commemorate the 400-year anniversary of the establishment of the Order of St. Basil the great in Lithuania.
Meeting of the Baltic archives 2017

Traditional meeting of Baltic archives took place in Palanga, Lithuania on May 31st – June 2nd, 2017. Guests from Poland and Norway also participated in this event. This year topic “Archives – modern, smart, open”.
