Young history researchers will have the opportunity to spread their wings more

The Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania has a great offer for bachelor, master and PhD history students.
"Today we see many excellent, comprehensive, professional scientific historical studies that do not receive the attention they deserve from the public and other researchers. To change this situation and encourage young historical researchers, we want them to be more visible by presenting their work to a wider audience. In our opinion, the authors of the most interesting works that meet the criteria of scientific research and are distinguished by the variety of used primary sources will be awarded commemorative gifts and will have the opportunity to present their works at archival conferences or other events" – says the chief archivist of Lithuania dr. Inga Zakšauskienė.
Each study develops the skills of young researchers and contributes to the popularization of science and expands the applicability of research. Students are encouraged to use primary sources stored in the Lithuanian State Archives in their coursework or final theses. If you collected material for your scientific work in the state archives and you are looking for a wider audience send it to the Office of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania. by e-mail [email protected] from June 1st to June 30th.
Research supervisors can also offer research papers.
