Scientists in Ukraine participate in an internship organized by the Lithuanian State Modern Archives

For the fourth time, Ukrainian researchers participated in an internship, organized by the Lithuanian State Modern Archives, on document management issues. In 2022, ten scientists from five scientific institutions in Ukraine participated in the internship "Document management, archiving and use of archival documents in scientific and genealogical research in the Republic of Lithuania".
The internship included combining participants' performance on a series of tasks and group discussions in online meetings. During October and December 2022, the main goal was to share work experience and discuss the Lithuanian State Modern Archives and its activities, including document management, digital information management and information systems in Lithuania.
Information on archival work was shared by Danutė Kontrimavičienė, Director of the Lithuanian State Modern Archives; Dr. Daiva Lukšaitė, Head of the Department of Management and Use of Documents and Archives, performing the functions of the Chief Archivist of Lithuania; Kęstutis Remeika, Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Special Archives; and Vaidotas Ramonas, Director of the Digital Services Department of the Lithuanian Communications Regulatory Authority.
